Britax B-Agile Stroller Review
I was in looking of a lightweight baby stroller for operating errands, going to the store, and so on but wanted one thing more substantial than an umbrella stroller. Since my baby is three months old, I also wanted something that could lie flat. I got many recommendations from neighborhood moms for the City Mini, so I was fairly considerably sold on it until I went to "test drive" it and came across the new Britax B-Agile Stroller. The strollers have the same look, are the same size, and just concerning the very same weight. But, the B-Agile won me.
The compact Britax B-Agile Stroller contains a multitude of capabilities that provide safety and comfort for your child--and convenience for you. Its one-handed folding style allows you to pack the stroller in seconds. The supportive seat attributes a five-point harness program that is both comfy and secure. The B-Agile adjusts to accommodate children even as they grow bigger. This stroller includes an extra-large canopy, comfort-ride suspension, and ample storage space.
Underneath there is a medium size basket that has handy side access because acquiring into the basket from the rear may be difficult having a totally reclined seat. There's also a big zippered pocket on the back of the canopy for further storage.
If a travel technique is your thing, the B-Agile succeeds in this area too! The stroller comes with included Britax CLICK & Go infant car seat receivers to work with the Britax Chaperone or the new Britax B-Safe infant car seats. The Britax adapters are very handy and do not get in the way of the fold. With the City Mini, the car seat adapter bar typically hits your arm when you are folding which is not good.
If you're searching for a lightweight stroller that will have you folding it like a "ninja" having a huge canopy, a very huge seat for your bigger kids, extra stride clearance for tall parents and the easy travel technique capability, the Britax B-Agile is the stroller for you.
I have a Canon What do I need to sync my Canon Rebel XS with a Vivitar 285HV for off camera shooting?
I'm not interested in anything wireless, since lag time will ruin my shots and I don't want to spend a lot of $$. So how can I connect? PC cord and some adapters...but what exactly?
Thanks for the help
Oh, also, what is the best size for a shoot through umbrella to go with that flash? Just trying to experiment with a small home studio. ![]()
Thanks FotoZ, but apparently you didn't read the entire question. I'm on a budget, and while a pocket wizard would be great, I can't afford it right now. Hence my concern for ending up with a cheap wireless system that produces lag time
You need a hot shoe - PC sync adaptor, something like this:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/245292-REG/Wein_W990560_Safe_Sync_Hot_Shoe_to.html#features
Canon DSLR's have lower trigger voltages than say, nikon for example. So a safe sync is needed to regulate the voltage so that viv 285hv doesn't fry your hot shoe trigger circuitry. Wein has been making these for years, they're very reliable. I'm not sure the viv has a PC terminal, so you'll need one of these too (PC to hotshoe adaptor): http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/109454-REG/Kaiser_201301_PC_to_Hot_Shoe.html Also if you've got a good brick-and-mortar camera shop in your area (non-ritz/wolf type), they'll have all sorts of adaptors and people who can point you in the right direction.
