LCD TV Stands Should Provide Good Support
Most new LCD televisions come from the factory equipped with LCD TV stands to hold the television upright on a flat surface. LCD TV stands that were manufactured specifically for a particular model and size TV may not strong or stable enough for the newer models. The more slender flat screen LCD TVs have the ability to be mounted on the wall or placed on a LCD TV stand.
Due to the wide screen format of most LCD televisions, they usually will not physically fit into a traditional television spot in an entertainment center. However, most smaller units will fit, with more space above the television than most people are used to seeing. A chest of drawers may be used as a LCD TV stand if it is sturdy and of the right size.
