lights, flashes?
I am thinking about getting 580ex II speedlite for my camera(canon digital rebel XT). I've no lighting whatsoever. And So I thought it was the very best factor to obtain? Do you consider this is actually the best factor to purchase first? Apart from other lights: strobes, soft boxes, alien bees, etc...
I've got a backdrop, stand, tripod and all sorts of that but no lights. I eventually are interested more but am getting a bit at any given time. Any advice/tips is going to be useful! Thanks

I take pictures indoor and outside. After I shoot indoor I must bump the iso up through the roof and I'd rather not do this
Yes the expensive is a superb start - its portable and you will go anywhere. Begin using it for individuals photos outdoors to provide a sparkle towards the eyes and fill any nasty nose shaddows.
