Photography Lighting Kit?
I do photography as a hobby, but I really need to get a lighting kit for a shoot I have coming up in less than 3 weeks. I know I want cool lighting (softbox is the way to go, but even online it's still running at least $150). Does anyone know where I could get something like this for cheap? I need it to keep it under 50 dollars if at all possible. I've heard of using work lights from home depot but those lights seem to give really warm yellow color when I need cool diffusing color. Any tips? The only thing I own right now is a reflector.
Oh...and my subject matter is always people, sometimes animals 
The reason the lights are warm is because they are incandescent lamps and you have not set your cameras white balance to incandescent.
Using the correct white balance is necessary when ever you shoot under any lighting conditions.
Using a 500 watt lamp from Home Depot and using the correct white balance will provide you with an inexpensive way to go until you can afford some 750 watt lamps, stands and umbrella kits.
