Make Your Own Digital Artpiece With Cool Photoshop Effects
There is not one multi media company that doesn’t use digital image editing as part of their daily operations. It enhances photos or images to attract viewers and make them want to see or find out what the photo image is all about. This is the reason most multi media companies use photoshop as their digital image editing software. Through this program, artists are able to convert simple digital photos into posters that are made to attract customers. Below is an example of one of the may cool photoshop effects that the best multi media artists use today. Adding abstract art to an image can give it that extra pizzazz to catch more attention and is considered a favorite of many cool photoshop effects. A designer of masquerade mask who also knew much about Venetian masks and masquerade masks provided the following information.
Step 1. Find a good background. Look for a background that you want to use for the image, it could be any color that you please. You can combine the chosen background with another background with the same tone to add more depth. By reducing the second backgrounds “fill” option to 80%, the two backgrounds will combine harmoniously.
Step 2. Find a good subject. Choose an image that you want to be the subject of your work of art. If you are a novice it would be best to stick to an image that is not too intricate so the image can be extracted easily. With a pen tool, trace the outline of the image then go to the “paths” tab and choose the path that you just made. You will see that your subject still contains white edges, you can also clean this up by cutting it out with a pen tool. After doing so, you can finish it off with a soft brush. You can give the image more depth by adding a shadow using a soft brush. This is one of the cool photoshop effects that some people take for granted.
Step 3. Add Abstract Elements. This simple addition will have a great effect on the overall image. Images can be easily found on the internet. When you have your abstract image, resize it to the size you want and position it on your subject. The image might overpower your subject, you can erase parts of the abstract image using a pen tool and a soft brush.
You can enhance the image by adding cool photoshop effects like smoke of lightning for a poster quality finish.

Adobe Systems has published a glimpse of the forthcoming Photoshop CS6, an
update that brings the dark workspace and raw-image editing tools from the new
beta of its sister program, Lightroom 4.
Bryan O'Neil Hughes, an Adobe senior product manager, showed off a bit of the
new software in a YouTube video published yesterday. Photoshop CS6 is set to
debut along with the sixth version of Adobe's Creative Suite in the first half
of 2012.
Darker photo backgrounds are all the rage for photo software since they make
photos stand out nicely; the darker interface used in Lightroom and the
consumer-oriented Photoshop Elements is matched by Phase One Capture One, DxO
Optics Pro, and others. But Photoshop users can be a conservative bunch, so I
wouldn't be surprised to hear some squawking. Fortunately, the interface can
be changed to lighter tones for those who are change-averse or who fear their
tonal judgements wil... [Read more]
