I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 5.9l and my service 4wd light just came on.?
truck drives in 2wd but the 4wd service light is on. it still goes in to 4wd high and low dont know if its a computer problem or vaccum problem in the transfer case. if you have any info please post.
truck has hypertech programmer, headers, straight pipe exhaust, shift kit, leveling kit, and rebuilt trans dont know if any of these would affect it.
the programmer wont cause the service 4 wheel drive light to come on like that, it will cause an occasional check engine light though,check the codes for it and see what comes up on it chances are its just a service reminder on it,that light will come on often when the 4 wheel drive has not been serviced or a problem is detected,good luck.
