Need advice shooting in a nightclub tonight!?

I need to know what the ideal modes to shoot in since the club will have very little lighting? Also Should I direct flash them because I know in this nightclub has no ceiling or more like very high ceiling So I cant bounce? I do carry a gary fong sphere that I will using maybe that should help?

Any advice,

Thanks!

For night club shootings, I find a mini-mac, or an uzi are easiest to sneak past security! ;)

OK, but really, a fast lens! 2.8, or lower! Set your ISO as high as you can, depending on the capabilities of your camera. Try using the Aperture priority mode if you have one.

It would help to know what kind of flash you are using, what camera and the distance from the stage you'll be.

A diffuser, is likely to be of little value, unless you are leaning on the stage. If you have TTL, on your camera, a diffuser will throw it off.

And finally, take some shots, review them and adjust from there!

Edit: There is some merit to using shutter priority also, as long as there's a minimal amount of light!

Try shooting when there's not ton's of activity going on, on stage.
