The nitrogen cycle steps done by nature naturally convert the ammonia into nitrates thus the fish thrives. A good and well taken cared of fish tank will keep your fish alive for its life span. You can kill the fish in your tank if you feed it more often than it requires. If the aquarium water looks cloudy, then it's time that you change the water in your tank.
