Make Your Pictures Lively
Taking photos can be hard work on the part of the photographer and the people who's photos are being taken. And sometimes, it can't be helped when the pictures get a little too boring. To avoid having a plain and boring photo to show, here are some ways as to how you can make your photos look alive and exciting.
Props: To be able to make your photo a little more captivating, using all kinds of accessories can help you. For example, you can use empty picture frames and hold them up to your face or your companion’s face. Having different props in your photo makes you more 'experimental' in a sense that you are not afraid to have those items taken with you on the shoot. You can use props like flowers, wine glasses, vaporpro e-cigarettes and so many others. Make sure that you and your family or friends agree with your idea to use different props for the shoot.
Outfits: Isn’t it fun to see a photo wherein the people are wearing unique and colorful costumes? There is definitely nothing wrong if you wish to wear different outfits during a pictorial. You can dress up like pirates, teachers, businessmen and even wear something that your favorite celebrity would be seen wearing.
Scenery or Background: Usually, we see a lot of photos taken with a plain-colored background. And we all know that plain is boring. To remove that boring factor, have your photos taken with a different background. Choose one that has prints and drawings or things like that. But for an even better on, shoot your pictures outside. You can have them taken in forests, buildings and even tourist spots. This will add in a little twist to your photos and will make it more authentic and vibrant.
Emotions: A lot of times, people tend to look a little ‘fake’ when on a pictorial. They may blame it on bad mood or they are really in the mood to do this. A situation like this can be understandable. But if you are in the mood to do so, always remember to act naturally or just be yourself when your photo is taken. You can play around in your photo because it would rather natural compared to being too stiff and forcing your facial expressions too much.
Having your picture taken is not only for fun, laughter or just for kicks. Photos represent a certain memory or occasion in your life and it is best to let your photos portray the feelings that you have. By using items like vaporpro e-cigarettes and utilizing you surroundings, you can make your photo say a hundred words. As they say, a picture could say a thousand words.
A white background for a photograph?
You know how in pictures, there are props and objects and whatnot in the background? does anyone have any idea how to make the background of a picture completely WHITE, with only the main figure showing? Thanks so much

This is called High-Key lighting. It is a combination of using a Seamless white paper which is then lit with strobes and is overexposed purposely. Which, in turn makes the background a pure white. I'm surprised the top contributor before me didn't mention this. Also, when you use a lasso tool in photoshop to try to re-create a backdrop, it looks god-awful. I would not suggest it if you are serious about quality.

Take a Behind-the-Scenes Look into "The Hobbit" Set (Gossip Girls)
Opening up about his highly-anticipated upcoming flick, **Peter Jackson**
dishes some details on the filming of “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.”
Chatting about the recent outdoor production in New Zealand, Jackson reveals
on a video blog post, "Dwarves in boats; everybody thinks they're a sailor,"
as a rubber raft full of some of the movie's characters drift by in the
background.
"It's been great to get outside. It's been great to get that texture of
Middle-earth into the movie after many, many weeks of shooting in the studio,"
Jackson continued.
Picking up and traveling to New Zealand for the filming is nothing less than a
spectacle, as the main unit crew alone is comprised of approximately 500
members with 200 more second-unit filmmakers dispatched to various parts of
the country.
It takes over 140 vehicles to transport all the equipment - which includes
generators, props, costumes, set dressing, Hobbit feet, livestock, food, water
and other creature-comfort amenities, not to mention airplanes, helicopters,
flatbed uphill tows, motorboats and rubber rafts.
